Our Mission:

The mission of the Mt. Olivet UMC Preschool Developmental Center is to ensure the intellectual, spiritual, physical, emotional and social growth and development of young children. All children will be provided the opportunity to participate in appropriate learning and play activities, both structured and spontaneous, in an active, safe, secure, and loving Christian environment.

Tuition Information:

Tuition for the 2020-2021 school year shall be sixty dollars ($80.00) monthly for two days a week, and eighty dollars ($100.00) for the three days per week.

Days and Hours of Operation:

The Mt. Olivet UMC Preschool Program begins on the Tuesday following Labor Day, and concludes the last week in May or the first week in June. The program will operate 36 weeks.

Three-year-olds will attend on Mondays and Tuesdays. Daily program hours are from 8:30 am until noon.

Four-year-olds will attend on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Daily program hours are from 8:30 am until noon.

Philosophy:

Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church as designed a Seasonal Summer Day Camp program for children grade K-5. The idea is to provide children with a safe and loving environment with our main goal being quality. The program will offer such activities as snacks, arts and crafts, field trips, games and playground time, all within a Christian atmosphere.

Fees and Payment Policy:

$110 weekly for the first child
$70. weekly for each additional child

Days and Hours of Operation:

Camp will be in operation from 8:00 am – 5:30 pm.
*This program will run for ten weeks.

The program will offer such activities as snacks, arts and crafts, homework time, games and playground time, all within a Christian atmosphere.

Fees and Payment Policy:

$55 weekly for the first child
$40 weekly for each additional child

Days and Hours of Operation:

The After-School Program will be in operation from 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm on days when Dare County Schools are in session. The after-school Program will NOT be in operation when schools are closed for holidays, teacher workdays or when schools close early.
