Serve the Lord in Song
Winter is almost over. It is the time to begin thinking about what
you will be involved in at the church. When becoming a member
of the church one pledges to be faithful with their gifts and service.
I would like to present five different areas in which you might
feel led to share the gifts God has given you and serve the body of
believers here at Mount Olivet.

Youth Handbells	Sunday	7:00 - 8:00 pm
Children’s Choir	Sunday	4:00 - 5:00 pm
Chancel Choir	Wednesday	7:00 - 8:30 pm
Resounding Praise	Thursday	6:00 - 7:30 pm
Handbells	Thursday	7:30 - 8:30 pm

Youth have decided to start a handbell choir, so we will be meeting Sunday evening after youth group. This is open to 4th grade to 12th grade.

Children’s Choir: Three year old children - 5th grade. This spring we
will be learning more about worshiping through music and a lot of
fun songs.

Chancel Choir: Open for all ages. We serve the 11:00 am worship
service. If you love to sing, we invite you to join us and we
worship through song and lead the church in worship through
songs. Do not worry if you can not read music. The only requirement
is that you love the Lord our God and desire to worship
through singing in a choir.

Resounding Praise: We serve the 8:30 am worship service. If you
have sung with an ensemble or played an instrument for at least
three years and would like to serve with resounding praise, please
come and speak with me. Resounding Praise will be serving other
events beside just the early service.

Handbells: For anyone 6th grade - adults. Handbells are a lot of fun
and an exciting way to minister to many different people. You do
not need to know how to read music. You only need a heart and
desire to serve and learn.

All ensembles will start the week of Feb 3rd. Please if
you have a desire to worship and lead worship with music, please
come and join us. If you would like to help out with the youth or
children’s music, please come and let me know.
